bolivion rams
tank 20L air driven ugf low 80s in temp 7.0ph
only the parents in the tank.
Parents always eat the eggs while they hatch should I remove the parents now and just fan the eggs by hand a few times a day.
Will start the brine shrimp eggs tonight or tomarow.
Wish me luck and all advice is needed.

how often do you feed your rams because it seems to me that they are hungry and are eating the eggs because they dont get enough to eat.IMO

how big are the rams?

Personally I take the view that cichlids that eat their eggs should be allowed to do so. That way, we only breed from the fish that make good parents, and thus maintain this fascinating aspect of cichlid behaviour.

did you say that your tank is 20 liters or did you mean 20 gallons, if you ment 20 liters as your post suggests i would say that the rams are eating the eggs becuase the tank is two small and the fish feel there would not be enough room for any more fish, i dont know call me crazy but its a possibility.

talked to my boss Rich and he said the one parent doesnt under stand the other is removeing the rotten eggs so he/she freaks out then trys to hide the eggs in the gravel thus there gone.watching them he is right. The parents have layed eggs over 12 times in the last year and the same outcome. So this time I'm going artificial with a hospital tank 2drops per gallon methel blue air stone under the slate the eggs are on.
BTW the rams are feed 75%LIVE black worms and glass worms and 25%flake and been over feeding to cycle the tank for fry feeding. And its a 20 long
