I'm using a PondMaster 1800 pump indoors on my tank. Last week I shut down to do some cleaning and it had been nearly 2 months since the last time I'd shut the pump off. After about 2 hours the pump wouldn't spin back up.
I removed the impeller housing for the first time since I bought the pump 2.5 years ago. Didn't see anything special. Put back together and it started. Problem is that I had a circuit breaker trip in the house a couple of days ago an the wouldn't you know it, the pump wouldn't start up again. This time banging it
c: and filpping the switch :bowing: a bunch of times fixed it.
Am I at the point that I should be buying a new pump, or is there some maintenance I can do to the existing one that will help? I've got to solve this problem before the next cleaning in a couple of weeks....
