Hi all.

I can't seem to get my Python to function properly lately. The drain/vacuum setting isn't working.

I think it might be a couple of things.
1. Connectors to the sink aren't real secure anymore. Water is now squirting out when I try and use either setting.
2. I added a 20 foot extention to reach a new tank's home.

Do you think it's not working due to lack of a good seal, the extra hose length or both? Or I am just challenged all of a sudden?

Has anyone bought the metal replacement connectors for their Python?

Thanks everybody!

Yeah, you should check/replace the washer. If it's leaking, that's your problem.
I just got my first python (always used diy b4) and was somewhat disappointed. It works well enough I guess but the conncetors are pinched down so much that I didn't get much suction. I switched out all their connectors and replaced them with 5/8" garden hose parts (available at most any store that carries hardware).

It did come with a brass faucet adaptor which works well enough...just as well as the one you can get from the aforementioned store.

Nice. I'll get some connectors from Ace. It hasn't been used enough for the washers to have gone bad. I don't think so anyway.

Thank you both.
