I'm new here and just love this site, wonderful info! Thought I would share what tanks I have.
************************************************** *
46 Black Bow Front
Emperor 400
Azoo Sponge Filter
Set Up November 2002
Started with Bio Spira
0 Nitrite
0 Amonia
Slightly Alkaline Water
Fishy Friends that live in here:
3 Sterbai Cories
3 Panda Cories
1 female Betta
5 'gold' Honey Gouramis (1 inch maybe each)
3 Honey Gouramis (1 male and 2 females)
3 male Dwarf Gouramis (red flame, neon, and green)
2 female Dwarf Gouramis
3 Sunburst Gouramis (2 females and 1 male)
2 Sunset Gouramis (1 male and 1 female)
This tank is planted with silk and plastic plants, with polished black gravel substrate. Floating plant also. (many of them sleep in there) Really peaceful and pretty to watch. All of the inhabitants get along very well.
Tank is maintained weekly with about 25-30 percent water changes and gravel cleaning. Filters change approx. every 3-4 weeks. (This applies to all of my tanks listed here also.)

40 Gallon
Penguin 330
20-40 Whisper Triad
Set Up (January 2003)
Started with Bio Spira
Tank Inhabitants:
1 6 inch blue 3-spot gourami female
11 Tiger Barbs (3 Gold, 3 Albino (orange) and 5 green (size 2 inches each))
All I can say is ZoomZoom Zoom, The mean female gourami is now very happy living with these guys and is referred to as 'the hall monitor' as she gets after them when they get too crazy playing. The female Tiger's lay eggs all the time.
(Something went wrong in this tank last Thursday so am in the process of straightening it back around) Fingers crossed.

20 Gallon
10-20 Whisper Triad Power Filter
Azoo Sponge
Set Up (January 2003)
Started with Bio Spira
Tank Inhabitants:
1 4 1/2 inch female blue 3 spot gourami
1 Black Lace Angel (little bigger than a quarter body size)
6 Zebra Danios
Unlikely pair, LOL but the two get along and are best friends. The angel likes to try and catch the Danios but they be way to quick! I got the danios as a diversion for her as she was tending to get nippy with the gourami. Seemed to be bored, LFS recommendation and seems to be a good one.
(These fish wil be moved to a larger tank in the future) as the gourami and angel need more room)
************************************************** **
And lastly, I have 6 Wally World rescues (Male Betta's) (4 ) live in a gallon and a half bowl's on a shelf with a light that gives off just enough heat and is adjustable. The remaining two are above my computer with a heat light also. They are changed weekly sometimes sooner. These fish are one of my very favorites, sometimes I rescue, treat and then give to friends and family, ect. I think they are absolutely beautiful.
