I have a 10000k bulb and was wondering if I should stay with it or switch to a 6700 k bulb in a 20 G high tank with glosso amoung other light loving plants. The light fixture is a 65 w power compact.

I've read articles from a person of a scientific bent that tried all the different types of lighting and came up with a conclusion...

It doesn't matter. The only thing that really matters is the wattage. Most people use 67000 simply because it is more pleasing to the eye. But the plants could care less.

Ditto. The differing K ratings will likely look different to you. If you're color blind or somewhat so, you may not see a difference.
