Hi, over the long weekend, my Bettas at work, in 2 seperate tanks, but almost side by side got up to some trickery.
I forgot and left the lids off. I do this because I sit next to a window and like to let them get more light from the sun that from the low watt tank lids.
My blue had actually jumped into my pink ones tank. I don't know how long. But when I came in this morning, The pink had some pretty tattered fins, and the blue had a hunk of scales missing by his head. But they were swimming side by side and showed no aggression as I look on in amazement.
Is it possible for one to establish dominance in a tank and then fighting will cease?
I am going to take them home and set them up better and keep and eye on them while they heal up. The missing scales on the blue is rather disturbing.
