Are the butterfly loaches good to get along with zebra loaches? And how about other eaters of "algae"?

They don't seem to interact at all. The straitas hang out on the bottom of the tank and the butterfly's ( mine at least) usually are attached to the top 1/2 of the glass. I'm not sure they even notice each other. Ive got a bristlenose and a hilstream loach in that tank as well. None of them bother anybody.
