Has anyone ever had their DIY co2 (yeast) cause a slight cloudiness to the tank? Possibly from yeast spores that go through the tubing to the water?

I haven't experienced any thing of the sort during the time I went DIY...
What color is this cloudiness? How old is your tank? When exactly did it start to happen? Did you add any new fish? etc. etc.

well, actually this is a long story.
We had an ice storm and I lost power for 2 1/2 days. I did manage to keep the tank at 68 degrees through much struggle, and did not loose any fish or plants, but I lost my biological filter in both canisters.

So I cleaned out the canisters - talk about a stinch. I re-seeded my canisters with Bio-Spira as I've actually had good luck with this product in the past.

But I still have a hazyness to the tank. It is a white hazyness so it makes me believe that it is bacteria. My ph is stable at 7.5, Ammonia and Nitrites are zip. KH is 5.

This is so frustrating because my tank was perfect before the storm. It was absolutely crystal clear and I had absolutely fabulous plant growth.

The tank is about 7 months old now. When I added Bio-Spira in the past it did not cloud the water. Additionally, the water was cloudy before I added the Spira. I've done a 50% water change and it didn't help. I also ran a diatom filter and it cleaned it up for about 24 hours. It's hazy again, but not as bad as before.

I think that it is just a bacterial bloom and I'm just going to wait it out I guess. I was just checking about the yeast thing to rule out any variables.

I'm so mad and upset about the whole thing. :( I guess I can't complain, because the manager of the LFS lost his whole plant tank, and his coral tanks were completely lost. Thousands of dollars worth of coral... My father has a small generator and I'm going to keep it on hand for future power outages. It is just not worth going through what I and other people here in town are going through.
