I recently saw some freshwater flounder at my LFS does anyone have more info on them how big do they get ect.

Unless you are able to identify the exact species, it's safe to assume that it's not truly a freshwater fish. Most flounders sold as "freshwater" actually require brackish conditions. Feeding them adequately is also a challenge, due to their small mouths. I would do some serious research and try to identify the species (won't be easy) before considering a purchase. There are some true freshwater flounders, but they are rarely available in the hobby from what I understand.

I believe Cavefish recently posted pictures of his 'flounder'.
