I tried out a t5 light with reflectors that attach to the bulbs. had 1x56 watt daylight and 1x56 watt actinic but returned it because it had no canopy or fans.

I bought a coralife lunar with 2x65 watt 10,000k and 2x 65 watt actinic.

beautiful fixture but the light quality seemed a lot nicer with the t5,not just brightness but aesthetic quality also.

imagination or is t5 that good?

would most t5 be that good, like orbit for example or do u need special reflectors?

T5s do give you more light per watt. If you want to get the most out of them, the individual reflectors are best.

As far as aesthetic quality, it depends on the type of lamp, manufacturer and your eyes. Keep in mind that what looks best to our eyes is not necessarily the best for photosynthesis.
