I have two Bolivian Rams - juvenilies. They dont seem to eat during feeding time and thier fins seem to be seperating like they are stressed. They are very ANTI aggressive eaters. Yesterday was the first day I say what I think is my male eat the brine shrimp. The female aggressively guards one area of the tank to the extent of biting any intruders.
I have tried frozen bloodworms, frozen brine shrimp, frozen beef heart, two types of flakes (sprilina and regular), live snails (crushed and non crushed), and very small cichlid pellots. What else can I feed them to see if they eat??? Should I try live blackworms?? What about live earthworms??
This is a heavily planted tank with some open areas and plenty of hiding spots. PH=6.8-7.0, Ammonia=0, Nitrite=0, Nitrate=~15ppm, ~15dKH, ~23dGH.
Other tank mates are pleco (nocturnal only), serpae tetra, pristella tetra.
Thanks!!
Aries
