I'm thinking of setting up a 5gal hex with a piece of driftwood and some plants. was just wondering on ideas for fish to put in there. was kinda thinking of a betta and a smaller species of pleco but not sure. any ideas are welcome

pleco in 5 Gal is a no no, they poo wayy too much for that tank. Really a betta is all I would put in there save a few neon tetra,
I have a similar setup in my kitchen:
5G hex, piece of (fake) driftwood with java fern, some water wisteria, currently (since 07/05) housing 2 male guppies and an apple snail.
Seems to work well for me.

No pleco. You really can't put oto's in either cuase they like company. A betta and mabye a small school of neon tetra's sounds good
Hrm a small school of neon tetras (six) would take up more space than three otocinclus cats.Genral72 said:
