My lights are comming in today...

I got a Jebo 260w pc lighting system with 12ks and actinics. It also came with 6 moonlights and fans for cooling. (Not bad for $120 shipped)

Now that my new lights are finally here, I need some help thinking about what I should get for my tank.

I've got a fairly new 55g tank about 6-7 months with about 60-70lbs of liverock and a 4-6inch sand bed.

My live stock is;

3 green chromis
2 common clowns (tank raised)
1 neon damsel
1 yellow watchman goby
1 lawnmower goby (I might take him out, he's eating all my good algaes too)

I've got lots of snails, turbos, astrea, cerith etc...
3 small hermits (two scarlet)
1 unitentified crab (non-threatening so far)
tons of baby serpent stars (a couple not so baby stars that wont come out of the rocks  )
hundreds of brine shrimp
and lots of misc. hitchhikers

I already have various mushrooms
and I have two different types of star polyps.

I'm interested in expanding on the polyps and getting other begginer corals.

Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance

not to thread hijack but i bought my setup from aquauniverse 2 4 ft. setups with 250watt hqi 2 125wt actinics and moonlights for a grand excellent to work with and to add to the post get some xenia for sure i bought frags a month ago doubled in size already plus new ones coming out

about the lights they were 500 for a 4ft unit i bought 2 you can look on ebay theres some good deals on light setups but for the amount of watts i got 750 watts in each unit plus the moonlights i thought it was a good deal less watts less price if you dont need that much light

The lights are awesome, I'd say the best 120 bucks ive spent in a long time....

I'd suggest them for anyone who is new and wants to step up from standard flouescents...

note: there are actually only 4 moonlights, that was my bad. They work good, but I think I want 4 more...

The lights give good light and have serperate switches for the days, actinics, and moons

260w fancooled, with moonlights at $120 shipped to my door... thats awesome

Skippy2,

I do most of my shopping at V.I.Pets they are a tad pricey but there service is great. They are really nice people, and they have an intelligent salt water specialist (Brian) I think he is in school to be a marine biologist. However he really only works fridays for sure, other than that he's hard to catch...

I don't really recomend getting dry suplies there, foods, suppliments, etc...

Buy them online (much cheaper)

I've gone to aqua reef in zeeland but the owner was really stuckup to me because I was new at the time. He got really upset that I didn't let him sell me crap live rock. I did my research before I went looking and he expected me to pay way to much for crap rock...

However they do have a great selection of stuff. If I go there again it will have to be to look, get what I want and get out, no chating with those people, and that just blows it for me.
