I didnt like the way my 30gallon long looked so i re-arranged it. I also boiled the wood and rocks again cuz i was having a hair algae problem. It didn't come off so i had to pluck some of it off. Let me know if you think it looks better.

Oh and I finally got some decent pics of the best looking guppies that i have.

hey the tank looks great! Do you know the name of the plant in the back left hand corner of your "before" picture? I have that same plant but I can't find any pictures that look exactly like it.

Its an amazon sword. its actually the same plant as the one in the "after" pic but the leaves were doing poorly and i pruned them off. I'm doing DIY co2 right now and also adding some seachem flourish (which smells like blood!!)

so is the new look better than the old one?

thats a cool tank u created made it look even bigger than before and better
how long is your tankl in cm? i got a 30 gallon and i dont know if its a long or a tall

before the pics showed, i read the thing about the guppies and was thinking
"Oh great, someone showing worthless pictures, of the worlds most common tank filer" but when they appeared... I NEVER THOUGHT GUPPIES COULD LOOK SO GOOD!!!!!

Sorry about my first thought, but I have seen so many "look at my guppies" threads to make a new forum out of them

looking nice. **** those are some pretty guppies. makes me wanna mess around with my tank... must.. resist.

ive moved my tank around like 3 times in 5 days :p

oh and clean your background.. the water is all makin it stick. mine has that too, can't stand it I always take the tape off and clean it. maybe im too obsessive

it definitely looks better in the after picture. Amazon sword? wow I wouldn't have thought so because mine seems healthy enought and I only have 1 wpg lighting....I had the same problem with the leaves and they would never get any better but the new leaves seem green and healthy.

I have less than 1wpg of lighting. I when i got the swords they were that big so i didnt' grow them out til that size. I'm going to get more lighting eventually though.

The after layout is a lot better in my opinion. Seems much more natural.

I personally don't care for guppies. I relate them to the poodles of the dog breed (which, while I love dogs...well poodles... :rant2: doesn't matter. Just one person's view with no real logic behind it other than personal preference.).

I think your tank looks much better now.
