Hello everyone.

Here is my question. I currently have a 29 gallon aquarium housing 2 black convicts. I want to get another fish to add, maybe a Jack Dempsy, or Green Terror, but in order to do so I would need a larger aquarium. I just bought a 55 gallon to put the 3 fish in, but the problem is I want to put the 55 gallon in the same sport as where the 29 gallon is. Does anybody have an idea how this can be done. I have to remove the convicts from the 29 gallon, drain the water, move the aquarium, put the 55 gallon in its spot, fill it with water, and add the convicts. I hope somebody has some ideas, cause I don't.

Thanks.

here is my suggestion,,,1) drain water from 29 gal and save at least 50 % 2) after removing everything else from the tank, move it away and place the 55 gal. there 3) set up the 55 with the old water and as much old filter media and gravel as possible 4) put your convicts in the new tank and monitor the water for a few weeks before adding the new tank mates,,,,,,,,,,,,,,hope this helps
