I am thinking of getting some Dwarf Neon Rainbows for my
55 gal community tank. My PH is 7.5. From the information I have found about these fish, some say they need lower Ph but others say this would be ok. Do any of you have Rainbows and what can you tell me about them? Would they do well in a
tank with Angels, swordtails, neons, serpae tetras and two
Black Skirt Tetras? Thanks in advance.

i have dwarf rainbows and my pH is 7.6. theyve been doing great. i read an article that they spawn in the mornings and mine are really fun to watch during that time. see my tank specs for tankmates.

Do you'all know The Home of the Rainbowfish?

This is one of the Internet's best personal fish sites. Stuff here even for folks not into Rainbowfishes per se.

Thank you both. That is a great site. You could spend hours
there. I will get 3 or 4 as soon as the LFS gets some - next week they tell me. Is there a ratio of males to females, or does it matter?
