We just set up a brand new 10 gallon tank. It has been 2 hours since it has been running. We just checked all the levels and they were
ph: 7.6
ammonia:0
nitrate:0
nitrite:0
Our question is this, how long do we have to wait before we introduce a bottom feeder into the tank? Thanks

Stabilize the temp and place the first fish in if doing a fishy cycle. Have you read the stickies on cycling a tank?

The temps are the same. We think one fish has ammonia poisoning. Would it be good for her to be transfered into the new water? Or is it too late for her? We also have a corydora. Would it be ok to put that one in the tank?

I am thinking of moving the corydora today. Is this ok? I am going to test the water but would it be ok to move him into the new tank. Thanks.

If you decide to add fish then you will start a fishy cycle. Just adding a couple fish at once will get it going. Adding the cory will produce a little ammonia and you will need to keep a watch on it so it won't get to high and be ready for water changes if it does. The same goes for your other tank. If you think there is ammonia poisoning then maybe that tank is going through a cycle too. So water changes are good.
