Very nice! I really like the convict with the hump on his head, hope mine grows one when he gets older.

Nice pics, they really came out great! The first one of the "nasty" fish looks like a Trigger fish (saltwater)...from the looks of the mouth and lips!

1. how come you dont mention the glass cat? nice looking fella.
or is it a glass knife? or am i confused.. [most likely the third option].

2. its good to see a rtbs can get along with the nicaraguans because that how it will be soon at my house.

As far as convicts go....that is a sweet looking male.

The glass cat is easily over 5 years old. I have two out of Seven that i originally bought together. They have managed to last through all types of tank mates from hundreds of tetras in a 150gallon tank originally to probably a dozen different types of cichlids at one point or another. Whoever says that they dont get over 4-5" was wrong cause my carpinte is over 8" and the glass cat is almost just as long. The convict is 3 years old and a breeding machine like most convicts. Inch for inch i think the convict is one of the toughest fish around. ive used my pair for dithers and targets in breeding midas tanks, a buttikoferi tank, right now the pair shares a tank with a fenestratum, a carpintis, a turq. severum and until a few days ago a juvenile midas. thansk for the comments guys!

maybe you have the fish mixed up, but the first pic doesn't look like a trigger.

dont know my saltwater fish no i wouldnt know but, when its in a good mood its color will give some saltwater fish some competition in the color department.
