Does anyone know of a hands down, clear cut frontrunner when it comes to this market. I have been checking out websites like liveaquaria, pet solutions, and various vendors on ebay. I need around 40 to 50 lbs and would like it precured. Ive got 30 lbs of bali live rock from the lfs, which looks a lot different than the fiji look. so i was wondering if anyone had any sites they would suggest.

i have bought from premium aquatics, bought approx, 600 lbs so far of marshall uncured stuff is just awesome, cured was about a dollar more, i think 100lbs they'll give u a price break i paid 4.49 lb at first when u put in the tank a little whitesh but comes back real quick, all the sizes were big rocks not some little 1 pounders but if u ask they will mix it up for u, great to deal i give them a thumbs up, get a cleaning crew from them also good deals on inverts!!

thx siding - anyone else???

thanx you guys - i checked out Dr Mac seems like some good rock, reasonably priced. Question for ya Mo - have you bought rock from them or not????

anyone else that would like to chime in with a site it would be appreciated. Thx

I just got 40lbs of Carribbean LR from LiveAquaria on Friday. I really love it.

It has some really pretty pink adn green coralline on it, it kinf of light & lacey with a lot of interesting shapes.

It will make a lot of great caves and shelves. There was one quite large piece about the size of a basketball, several pieces about cantalope size, and the rest was softball size or a little bigger.

Hope you find something that you like!!!

Good Luck

Tampa Bay Saltwater (big $) but ships in water! or my personal favorite is Sealifeflorida.com He is a really great guy. Fair and good product. Much less expensive than TBS.

If you get it "cured" , there will be die-off during shipping.

thx guys - those have all been a big help. I'm leaning towards getting around 50 pounds of the tonga Kaelini from Dr. Mac. It looks like great rock and it appears quit reasonable. Also in appearance it looks very similar to the bali LR Ive got in my tank already. So thx for your help yall !!! can't wait to fill my tank out, get my hands (and arms) wet, and do some aquascaping.

regards,
drew

Ps: kraze - something strikes me as odd about that web site. I mean don't get me wrong the prices are outstanding, the free shipping is outstanding. Infact the two pics of the LR are outstanding. But to me that just doesn't add up. I understand that there can be very reputible small outfits out there that aren't trying to squeeze you for every dollar. Hell thats probably what they are too, but with all of the great stuff they are offering and than you read through the website and there are typos everwhere, it just seems kinda seedy. I dunno though thx for the imput, but i wouldn't buy from that site.
