Harlequin Rasboras or Marthae Silver Hatchetfish?

Which are more exciting?
Which are more sturdy considering health?
Which have the cuter personality?

Or other? Both?

Check for compatibility with my dream tank:

A 75 gallon tank with:

All Florite substrate

Live Plants
Wisteria or maybe Asian Ambulia as a backdrop
and maybe some Moneywort, and/or Red Ludwigia
Some Anachris
Some Anubias Nana and Java Fern
Some Amazon Swords
I'd like some Clover
maybe some Amazon Frogbit or eared watermoss

Inhabitants
2 German Blue Ram Cichlids
2 Neon Blue Dwarf Gouramis
4 Sparkling Gouramis
8 Bleeding Heart Tetras
8 Purple Emperor Tetras
8 Harlequin Rasboras or Marthae Silver Hatchetfish
8 Peppered Cory Catfish
and some Japanese Trapdoor snails or maybe an Apple snail or two

I'll give you my experience.

The hatchet fish are beautiful and intriguing. I've got silvers and I love them. However, you cannot see them without stooping to look at the surface of the water...and thats in a tall tank (125g). They're also delicate when you first purchase them. If you have any nippy fish (sometimes the gouramis can be) you're apt to get them spooked alot. Definitely require floating plants of some sort. Mine love hanging in the floating egeria najas. Of course a very tight cover is an absolute must.

The rasboras are cute, will school throughout the tank at mid level. They'd also fill in a lot of the middle space.

I'm partial to the hatchets because they're less common...it depends on what you're aiming for.

Thank you. I want to try this post again and create a poll. Can I do that?
