Anyone have any words keeping a fire goby and a purple fire goby together? I'll probably be blasted for asking this, but they're both such awsome fish and I can't decide on which one to get, though I'm leaning on the fire. The tank is a 30 gallon by the way. Also, any thoughts on using Saran Wrap as something to cover the uncovered areas of the tank?

It's ok, I confuse my students too.
One is most likely going to wind up dead. It might work in a bigger tank, but 30g doesn't give enough room to run. You would literally have to cover every open inch in the canopy to keep them from jumping out.
One big trouble with saran wrap is keeping dissolved oxygen up and temperatures down...if you make it *too* airtight, you can run into real problems.

Wow. Thanks for the quick reply. I'll take your advice. I didn't think it would work, just hoping. I'll look into the nylon too.
