I want to upgrade to a reef tank

I have a 55gal with rocks and fish. I would like to start adding some corals but low lights ones frist.

I want to upgrade to a 75 or 125gal in the next few months.
 
How much light do you have now? The problem is that there really aren't any low light corals. Lower light, yes, but that's not the same as low light.
 
I have other lights that I haven't set up yet because I'm waiting untill I upgrade. I would like to add some color to my tank but something that doesn't need spot feeding
 
With that much light, you have a lot of choices. Soft corals, like leathers, xenia, anthelia will all do fine. Mushrooms and zoathids will also be happy, as will large polyped stony corals.

If you want to start with something colorful and almost indestructible, mushrooms are great.
