This food is amazing! Fish really love this stuff....the Discus go crazy for it, even after feeding them the 'expensive' frozen foods. I do think the "color enhancing" works. The can of Color Bits I have says for large fish, but you can 'grind' it up in smaller pieces for smaller fish. I highly recommend this fish food.
Even our Nano Reef tank soft corals, brittle star, hermit crabs eat the heck out of this...
This is the best canned fish food I've used.
I do agree that it is accepted by a wide range of fish and seems an excellent food. I use it regularly.
PS: It was originally named "Discus something or the other"

What about the tetra BettaMin flakes. My fish all like this stuff, and I don't even have a Betta.

great stuff i feed it to all my juvenile fish that i grow out once they are big enough to eat it.
When I put these things in my tetra tank, the water boils with action. You can really see the resemblance to piranhas then. ;)
Ooo, for a great treat, try frozen (or better yet, live!) brine shrimp. My fish go nuts when I give them that! My tetras also LOVE duckweed.
My balas also love those tetra bits.

I've been giving this to my Discus since I've had them. They love it. I give it to all my fish with the same success.
Have you ever used or heard anyone's opinions on Omega Flakes?
I have been using their color enhancing flakes, and I would have to say, the fish look great!
But, I am interested in what anyone knows about this product anyway!
