hey, i set up a 55 gallon a few weeks ago and i have 6 fish in it now, but theres this white fungus stuff all over the decorations and when the fish hit it its goes all over and makes the tanks cloudy. Some flakes fell in the hood for like 2 days and there was some water in there and all the flakes were covered in it to. Does anyone know how i can remove this? thanks
I'm guessing you may be overfeeding your fish. When food doesn't get eaten and floats down onto the gravel and/or the decorations, it starts to rot, sometimes by a white fungus.
Make sure you are only feeding enough so the fish eat ALL the food in no more than a couple of minutes, and just use a gravel vac or your fingers to remove the fungus that's already there.

I agree with Heady on the removal of the fungus (but an algae pad could also do the trick...AFM, October 2002) Also, do a large partial water change after you finish with fungal removal. Cutting down on feeding is the right answer...perhaps a few fasting days are in order in the very near future and possibly once a week for the forseeable future.
Good luck!

If you have any sort of agitation in your water, the food particles will be swept throughout the tank.

Carbonates precipitating out of very hard water when you add phosphate pH adjuster?
We have absolutely no hard information here...
