I just had a power outage and my filters won't come back on. I have 2 aquaclear 200s. Are they fried? Will I have to buy new ones? Help me Help me Help me. I have no filtration at this moment.

AC filters never start backup... pieces of crap..

anyways, You might need to pull off the U-tube and tap the impeller. Thats gotten mine to start

How long has the filter been on your tank? Sometimes they won't restart if they're dirty. Empty the filter, take it off the tank. Take off the motor, pull out the impeller and clean it off (slimy, gunky stuff). Get Q-tips to clean inside the well where the impeller sits, then put it together; it will probably work.

I always have to pour water directly in mine afterwards to prime them. I'm sure you probably did that already, but you never know. I hope you get them running.

I had the same thing happen to me last week. (Notice I'm from Lexington) And I didn't have a problem with any of my filters (Emperors, AC's, and Eheims)
