I am wondering what temperature everyone keeps their Blue Rams at. If you have these fish that is. I've read a lot of conflicting numbers all over the web. I had mine at 77 F but just raised the temp to 80 F.

Thanks

I keep my tank at 80 F and they are happy. I believe the key is keep your water clean. Here is one of my young males, he is very photogenic.

Terry.

i just bought two. they have ich....
males doin alright, but the female isnt. i think the male might be hurting her because one of her fins is kinda torn, and she seems very sick just hangin around the top of the tank.
ive had them a week

How long have you had them for.
How is your water, is it clean. I mean when was your last water change and how much? IMO, if they don't have clean water they will not survive from the get go.

how much do you guys get your rams for? so far i found a full grown one for 30bucks each, but its at a store i wouldnt trust. But theres a LFS i trust alot that has a pair, female regular blue ram, male highfin for 30bucks boath. OMG its so nice...

I paid 6$ each at PetCo for the rams I bought. Very nice ones too ! I keep them in 80F temps but they can actuallly tolerate higher temps than that. The warmer the water the more colorful they become....well...lol....up to a certain point, I'm sure....

I just recently saw a nice male blue ram $6. I think $30 is a lot

ive had them a week, clean water, doing a water change right now because i bought some ich treatment and it made everything greenish blue. bought from a pretty reputable LFS. cycled tank etc...
shes doing a little better today, but im going to stick with salt for the ich
