so far i am offering osi marine flakes and sushi nori seaweed.
the yellow tang wont let a flake hit the bottom on either side.
my sebae gets his share.but the pygmy angel turns his nose up at the flakes .i havent figured out how to get the seaweed to him because no matter where i put it the tang finds it and devours it .
my tang is getting nice and fat and the angel looks very healthy
butthe only time i see him eat is when he is grazing the live rock which is now covered in brown algae.i am going to offer broccolli
tomorrow. but the tang seems to be the bully as of yet(quick to flash his razors).bottom line is the tang is eating everything i put in the tank b4 the angel can get it. he shares with the sebae(they are good buddies). what and how can i feed my gorgeous
centropyge?

Coral beauties are not veggieheads, the are sponge eaters... You need to get some Dwarf Angel Forumula from Ocean Nutrition... Mine also goes nuts over Prime Reef...

not entirely... There is still the matter of getting that food TO the angel, past that vaccum cleaner called a tang... I suggest watching the Angel and see where he pecks the most, then take a wooden (unscented) toothpick, skewer a partial cube of the angel forumla (it's way rubbery, so it shouldnt break up much) and wedge the toothpick in the rock somehow... This will keep it in his feeding zone and since it isnt moving, the tang will be less attracted to it...

HTH!

thx alot
i will try this tomorrow
hopefully the tang wont get it
he is definately try to bully my angel
leaves the sebae alone
but he doesnt have the angel figured out yet
seems boggled almost
he swells up like he thinks he a bada$$
but never really does anything
this hobby is pretty tight

He's gonna find that CBA can hold his own, and will probably not backdown very fast... My 3" CBA usta back my 6" tang off when things got tense =)
