is there any articles that tell you step by step on how to fishless cycle??? can someone show mw please??

Thanks.

thanks but in those links that you showed me it says 4-5 drops for every 10 gallon. BUT in another topic that i saw it said 3-5 drops for every gallon????

Which one ir right?? :(

Its good to read as much about it as you can to completely understand it. Basically the process I've been going through (using Clear Ammonia from Walmart):
*Dose Ammonia to 4ppm
*Check ammonia everyday until ammonia starts to drop then dose back up to 4ppm.
*Once ammonia gets to 0 in 24 hours start testing nitrites. At this point only dose to 2-3ppm as nitrite eaters need lower ammonia levels.
*When ammonia and nitrites get to 0 in 24 hours you are done and you need to do a large water change before adding fish (to remove the high amount of nitrates).

I've been doing it for 4 weeks now. My ammonia used to drop to 0 in 24 hours but now isn't. However, my nitrite levels are dropping but not completely. My nitrates have skyrocketed. It hasn't followed the articles exactly but its close enough.

Its really good to read lots of articles on it.

Its hard to tell you you will have to test. The first time I screwed up and didn't realzie I had to wait 5 minutes for my ammonia to register on my test. So I overdosed. If you overdose then you can just do water changes. I add 12mL to my 46G to raise it to 2ppm.

I have some questions.. please answer them if anyone knows..

1)Can i add more decorations During the cycle?? Or is it better to wait untill its done??
2)When i add drops of ammonia to the tank should i sture the water so that the ammonia goes everywhere??
3)How often do i chek the ammonia level during cycle??(everyday)??
4)When i add the first drops.. how manny do i add each day so the ammonia level stays at 5ppm??
5)AND also Is this ammonia going to damage my aclyric tank??

1) Yes you can decorate.
2) Not necessary. If you want to retest the ammonia readings after you dose it I wait about 5 minutes. It saturates quickly.
3) I was antsy and checked daily. But at first you could check every other day as it won't do anything for a while. When it starts dropping you test every 24 hours so you can redose.
4) No way to tell. Everyday it could be different. Figure out how many drops it takes to get to 5ppm from 0 (make sure to make a note of this the first time you dose). Then if it goes down to 2 then add half of your original dose and test to see if its back up to 5. I would keep a journal and you will start to see a pattern. It is different for everyone based on how many gallons you have in your tank. If you ever overdose you can always do water changes.
5) No

They're both wrong.

As much ammonia as it takes to reach the target level (I'd go to 3 ppm and then stay there throughout). Its going to be a different number for everyone. Actual water volume varies from one set up to the next, ammonia strength varies from one manufacturer to the next, ammonia strength may vary over time in one bottle.

There is no set number of drops. Enough to reach the target.
