New 50 Gallons Aquarium! Help on What Fishes To Add!

Hi, I just recently bought a 50 gallon aquarium, it currently has 2 carps(or common goldfish, I'm not too sure though). What fishes can I add, I'm want an aquarium with lots different fishes. What are good fishes that I can mix with my current fish? I'd like maybe 2 to 4 different kind of fishes in the aquarium, would that be possible?

Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated. :help:
 
Yeah, godfish are coldwater fish. Goldfish and most coldwater fish are extremely messy, so you don't want to overstock. Do you know if your tank has cycled? How long has it been set up? What kind of filtration? If you post a little more information, it will be easier to help you.

I haven't tested the water yet, but it has been running with the goldfish int it for more than a week now. The tank has been setup for about 2 weeks now.

I'm not sure what type is the filtration, there's a pump inside the aquarium that pumps water to a filter compartment that is placed on top of the aquarium. The compartment has 4 parts that have different filter medias. Then the water goes back to the tank.

Sounds like you have an eclipse hood to me. Also I would wait at least 2 more weeks before adding anymore fish as your tank probably hasnt fully cycled yet.

Thanks for the advise. After the tank has cycled, what do you suggest I include in the tank?

Hmmm, I was hoping to keep them. But if I do, what are my options on fishes? :confused:
