All I can say is that I caved in... Some of you may remember that I was flooded out on Friday the 13th and had to take down my system in record time. Well, my brand new aquarium stand was destroyed in the process. Lucky for me, my home insurance is replacing the stand. I went in to a local shop to buy a stand and, of course, all they had were stands for bow-front aquariums - which, of course I don't have.

Well, next thing I know I've bought and paid for a brand new, complete reef ready system, 72gallon bow-front. I know the owner of the shop and was able to work the price down.

The system comes with:
-72 gallon bow-front tank with built in overflow,
-stand,
-canopy,
-48" 10,000 50/50 260 watt coralife strip,
-20 gallon sump, with 20 watt coralife lighting.
-sand for the sump

all this for $899 CDN plus tax.

Right before my flood I had purchased an RO/DI unit and some other canister type thing (can't remember what it is called or what it does). Hopefully in the next few days I'll be able to break out the boxes and start setting things back up again....Blinky has given me the motivation to document the process, so if there's interest I'll keep updating here.

YAY!! sooo excited!!
