My little 5 inch oscar ran out of food this morning. @.@ So i purchased a ton today. Mealworms, Giant earthworms and night crawlers, bloodworms. I was buying food for ALL my fish at the time ( Bettas, neons, lf danios, guppies ) and purchased Tubifex worms as well. I tried feeding a bit to all my fish, and everything but the oscar ate it...
uhm, is it ok for me to test around with food? He inhaled the tubifex cube, but then shuddered and spat it out, shaking his head and racing around..
ALSO.
My 8 inch pleco has flipped. I was cleaning the glass one day ( I do this alot! ) and he started swimming around, jumping up into the glass, splashing the water, and he settled for wedging under my penguin 330's lip. I've had him for 2 months now..what might've changed his once VERY calm attitude?

Oh yes, and finally..
Uh, is it okay to have male guppies with LF danios, tetras? in sight of female bettas?

you should always try to feed every fish with a variety of food especially the oscar cause they can become picky as they get older.

i think it would be fine to put the guppies with the danios, tetras and i guess female bettas. if they are goin into the 20g tank that is stated in your signature.

if there arent any fish with the oscar you could not feed it for 2 days and rise the temp a few degrees. Then it will eat most anything because it is hungry. Its not cruel either, u can go on week vacations and your fish will be fine.
