dyed parrots

in mine, less than 6 months. there is just a slight tinge of blue left on one and a slight tinge of green on the other.

i robbed a lfs of a sale today. the lady was getting all excited about a purple one. the salesman didnt say anything but when she brought her husband back to look at them, the salesman was gone and i clued them in. these were $19 a piece. petsmart had some where the die job must not have taken properly and they were $6.99

unsure whether to mention my objection to the dying of fish, or to stay well clear....well, whats the worst that could happen?
dying fish is a very cruel process that involves injecting fish with the dye, which means they command a higher price. this dying is usually carried out in albino fish forms, and, well, i think i'll stop there....
