Figure8 and Kuhli relations

Hey,

My sister orderd me a figure8 puffer without asking me first:mad: (she didnt know that I see them all time) he wont come in for a couple of weeks but the only tanks I can put him in is a 5gallon that for now is empty or a 20long community tank.The 20 has 2 banjos and 4 small Kuhli loaches but I am afraid of putting him in the 20 cause he might see my small Kuhlis as food:eek: Will he be able to live happily with in the 20 cause i know the 5gal is way to small.And does he have to be brakish water or will he be OK in feshwater.

I wouldn't put one in your 20. Puffers wouldn't be able to resist that quick motion. They would be intrigued. Figs can be kept in freshwater as long as the pH is high (7.6+), if it is not they will have to be in saltwater.

What do you mean by ordered? In the mail, or to your lfs? If it's to your lfs, you don't have to buy it. It doesn't sound like a good combo for either of those tanks.
