I bought some CaNO3 from a hydroponics store recently. All it says is CaNO3, guaranteed analysis min. 15% total N and 19% total Ca.
When I go to the fertilizer calculator at APC, there is only a Ca(NO3)2.4(H20). By their calculator 1 gram of this gives 3.5 ppm NO3 and 0.75 ppm Ca in 60 gallons of water.
As you can tell I was not very good at chemistry. Does it sound like this is the same product that I have? I'm confused.
