hi, i currently have a small tank set up with about 6 fish in it. but we just remodled our basement and i am moving down there within the month and am going to be setting up a new fish tank. i was thinking about getting a 150 gallon tank (48"Long30Deepand25"Tall). i am planning on getting 1 hystrix stingray(2 if you think a 150 is bigenough for 2??) and a fire eel and a couple more fish. now i have FULLY researched on what i am planning on getting. now for my question do you think a 150 gallon is big enough??? i think it should be for atleast one but i dont know about 2. i plan on getting a Rena filstar xp3 canister filter and a emperor power filter400 and then a protien skimmer. i plan on using the 2 filters because ive been reading that stingrays need very clean water. well thanks for reading if anyone has any changes i should make please let me know. and if a 150 gallon is big enough for 2 hystrix rays(tho i bet its to small) and if my filter system will be enough. thanks

ok thanks i think that 1 ray should be fine because i plan on leaving the tank failry bare so it can move around alot maybe i can get a bigger tank like a 200 but that is so big well see. i read that hystrix rays are small only about 12" disc size without tail so say its 18 to 24"s long with tail that should be ok i hope if not i think my neighbor is getting a 300 gallon i could give it to him thanks for all the help

ok well i was looking at bigger tanks would a 180 gallon be better(72Longx 24widex25"tall) rather than the 150. the 150 is 6 inches wider but this is 72 inches long so it would have more room

Come on people I need help haha. And I plan on using sand instead of gravel can anyone recomnd a good brand of sand to use is tanks(finer the better) thanks
