I've got a 125 gallon tank w/ a pacu, red devil, aztec, jack dempsey, two rainbows, two jewels, and two green terrors. they are all about the same age - just over a year old.

The pacu is over a foot now, and all the other ones are growing fine, but the Terrors are not growing at all - they are the smallest fish in the tank, even smaller than the jewels and rainbows! They seem to be a little pale at times, too

Anybody know what might be wrong?

How small is small?

the Terrors are about an inch and a half, maybe two... i'm afraid the pacu might accidently suck one in when he is eating :)

when you put all your fish in the tank how big were all the fish, were the GTs smaller than the rest of the tankmates?

one was put in when the other large cichlids were still fairly small, and the second was put in when ther others were a bit bigger

You may want to seperate thema nd feed them three timesa day. :)

it sounds like they were put in, in an order in whoich the convicts didnt get to establish terrorities and some of the fish may have been bigger and took over the tank at a young age and didnt give the GTs any space.

you will pronbably have to separate them and grow separatly.
