Hey Im getting a 10 gallon tank and I was wondering if I would be able to make it a salt water tank and get a couple of clown fish? Could someone please help me?

Maybe try asking in the saltwater forum? There's a higher concentration of people experienced in SW tanks in that forum than here. For the record, I have seen mini-reef tanks done in ten gallons, but I have no idea how it was done, or anything about clown fish.

if you go to petsmart they sometimes sell 10 or 20 gallon saltwater starter kits check online thats where i saw them at

try asking in the marine aquarium forum they would know better.

You can also check out www.nano-reef.com, it's a site dedicated specifically to keeping smaller marine tanks. It's easier to start with a larger tank - there's a greater margin of error, just like in FW - but it can be done. Make sure you do your homework first, it's quite different from FW.
