is this your first pair or have they mated before? first time parents dont always get it right the first time. i left mine alone and they ate the first clutch, but you may want to do the same. the 2nd clutch they laid is doing very well and i believe mine are getting ready to spawn for the 5th or 6th time(all the ones in between are doing well too). needless to say, i have more kribs than i need and im waiting for them to grow large enough to trade at the lfs. when they do get it right, youll probably run out of tank space soon, because they spawn often.

there's another post about this in the 'cichlid' section.... actually a few posts on kribs if youd like to do a search. another site you may want to look at is www.thekrib.com

good luck with them.

to avoid this over-running, i believe the best option is to let nature take its course. the strongest will survive (provided the parents do their job...they'll get it right eventually if they dont first time) and that should mean that you produce good stock and not too much of it.
