just had a prego platty jump out. opened the dead platty n removed the fry. dont know how long the fish was dead. fry still has yolk sacks attatched. they dont move. are they dead? is there any hope of saving them?

im afraid to say that there is nothin you can do...the fry of livebearers are very lively, and since yours are not moving i must assume that they are dead. the fish must have been out of the water for quite some time thou....platy can survive being out of the water for over 10 minutes, although it is not recommended.
