Thats a GERBIL!!! Looks just like one my kid used to have. I say it's a complete and absolute hoax.

I agree.... I totally think it's a hoax. The cat probably had a weird relationship with the gerbil before having her kittens and just includes it there..... Nice attempt for the 15 minutes of fame though..... I wonder what they're looking to pay off as a result of this "miracle".

What's funny is the story says that is has the body of a cat. No it doesn't. It has the body of a gerbil. And the face of a gerbil. My gosh! It looks just like a gerbil!

That is most definitely a gerbil. In every way, shape, form and aspect. There is nothing kitten-like about it.

yep, gerbil.....probably introduced to the litter as she was having her kittens. Rub it on one of the newborns and mom doesn't know the difference.

I've seen cats that took in baby squirrels....mice......parakeets.....even dogs will sometimes take in oddball kids when they're nursing a litter.

Nothing weird about that at all.
