I want to buy a dwarf lionfish for my "recently set-up" 200-gallon tank back at home. I'm considering either dwarf fuzzy or zebra lionfish. I've heard that dwarf lionfish accepts only live food. Which species is easier to take care of in terms of feeding (e.g. Which one is more likely to accept frozen food?)? I also heard that dwarf zebra lionfish is not a dwarf species. An article said that it can attain the size of 10" or more. I'm confused by all these conflicting information on dwarf lionfish. Which one should I get? Can anyone give me straightforward and correct information on these fish?

www.fishbase.org can tell you all about the size of the Lions...

As for feeding, that's a decision the individual fish makes, so a blanket answer is gonna do you no good...

I think all Lionfish are going to prefer live food. however if you work with them over a period of time most eventually will take to frozens. I've never heard of any species that was less likely to accept frozens, but I'm certainly not a Lionfish expert.
