Don't have a pic but it started out looking like a small cluster of hard green bubbles and has grown to the size of a baseball. Like I said they're a large group of small bubble looking things that hard firm to the touch and the thing kind of has the resemblance of a cluster of brocolli. Thanks
 
Bubble algae! A pest algae...emerald mithrax crabs love to eat it! Nothing else does!
 
My lazy bugger of an emerald never touched the stuff. Your other option is careful manual removal. The bubble walls are actually quite stiff and brittle so take care not to pop them in the tank.
