Broken 150 Gallon [Archive]

I have the chance to buy a tank where the plastic cross brace is broken on the bottom, its a 150 tall and they are offering me 50% off. What im wondering is, is it safe? And if so is it worth 200 bucks, and how would i go about ordering a new bottom brace?

Btw...its $200 for the tank, hood and lights.

I wouldn't say it's safe to fill with water. There has to be somewhere you can get another bottom frame for it! Those things are just siliconed on right? It may be a little work getting the old one off but seems worth it to me. Did you post this in DIY??? May get a better response.
