I've made a forum on my rainbowfish site for AC members -- a place to go if AC goes down again and you need to contact someone, or just want to yap or whatever.

The link is:

The forum is at the bottom and called "Aquaria Central Gang".

I will be moving the code to either vBulletin or phpBB2 in a few days and will update the link when I do.

Is the link supposed to work already or not untill a few days from now ?
I can't go there - and the one in your signature also doesn't work (for me?).
I tried several times over the past days...

Should work -- what happens when you click on it? I just recently changed the name server, so it may not have filtered out to you yet.

Both work for me. However, the main one (in signature) with the black screen, I had to wave my mouse around. The link that gets me "in" (where my mouse changes from an arrow to a hand) is at the bottom but all I see is black. But I am using Netscape - don't know if that makes a difference to how it looks.

Okay, those that are having problems and those that hate how it looks -- bear with me while I get things sorted out. I still need to do testing in different browsers.

I've been making changes to the code here and there and it's been quite a few years since I mucked in Perl and UNIX. I'm relearning stuff as I go.

Keep it bookmarked and I should have it under control by mid-April.

I think it is looking really good. I can't wait to see the articles you get up and running and your other pages. I think it's a great idea and resource and I hope people use it.

Some are taking bets as to when it goes again.
Thanks for doing this , Roan. I learned after it went down last summer for so long. I made msn contacts with folks here so I can keep in touch, and so have several others.

A couple of other places to find folks is Tom Barr (plantbrain)'s website www.barrreport and I've seen some on Tom Griffin's, and on plantgeek.com.
