I just bought a common pleco about 6 hours ago and it was dead about three hours after I put it in the aquarium. He seemed healthy, about 3-4 inches. I did everything like I was supposed to. It was doing just fine last I check--then he was just dead. Any tips or pointers??

We need more to go on, like your water parameters, etc., and, possibly, for this one, those of the store.

Yea, something had to be out of whack with your parameters, or it was just too stresses with the move.

I added a freshwater biozyme earlier in the day with my water change. I've had my water tested before from my other tank and it was fine, so I don't see why this tank should be any different. I did buy him from Petco, so maybe that is the problem. Guess I'll take him back and see what they have to say and get my H2O tested again. Thanks.
