240 gallon tank = 96 x 25 x 24

(1) - Oscar
(1) - Jack Dempsey
(1) - Midas
(1) - Common Pleco
(3) - Silver Dollars

The only big ???? would be on the midas. But with a 96 x 25 footprint, is that big enough to relieve it's hyperaggressive tendency that it takes in small tanks?

Also, what else would you stock with? I was considering upping the # of silver dollars, maybe trying a school of rainbows & some danios as target fish. Any thoughts?

yea man that will work fine.. no agresion... he might Nip if a fish gets in the way but he wont out right atack...

i would add 4 lined Pims..

good luck man.

allso filtraion is Fun with a tank that large.. did you ever see pics of the "Ugly" sump i made?? ahaha

its pimp

any ways have fun man

you could try a Lima Shovelnose cat also. my specs are on the bottom of my reply, note the 8 ate fish though. the oscars are pretty easy going with the danios. the lima ate them all. gl with the tank.:p

I've seen many clowns with ich, which between an occasional nip from the dempsey or the higher waste content that's going to come with fish of that size, I wouldn't recommend the clowns. The 4-lines was a good idea, otherwise you could try some pimelodus. They're just as active with somewhat of a dalmation pattern going. Never stop.
