I'd think the plants would start 'kicking in' now, but that hasn't happened yet. I may put more fertilizer down soon...

I've been lazy too and havan't gotten on lately but Im another pond fanatic. Im hoping to add on to my pond this year. I have already done my spring cleaning but looks like I should have waited cause we got soem cold coming soon but ahwell.

I've noticed that all you guys are from those nice "warm" states like Fla. or Cal. but in Penna. i still have a few inches of ice on the pond but with a warmer forcast for next week i guess the clean-up will start soon......Rich

I plan on starting a small pond w/ guppies for the summer but its still around or below 60 here so nothing going so far. I will post when I start and work everything out.

I am actually thinking on doing a couple of small setups on my patio for pygmy sunfish, Elassoma okeefenokee. I wanted to try a few different setups and see if i could get any to breed.

please let me know how you get on with that. i have always wanted to keep the sunfish, but none of my lfs' stock them.:(
