I've noticed that a little bead of water has been accumulating on two upper corner of my 20 gallon aquarium. I'm not sure exactly what is going on, but I think there might be a tiny leak in the silicone.

Are there any aquarium safe products that I can use to reseal the corners from the outside? Any suggestions are appreciated.

Before you panic, you may just be putting a bit too much water in. The water leeches up under the plastic lip that lines the top of the tank and travels round to the outside and drips down. Sometimes it 'travels' along horizontally before it drips. I have three tanks, and only the 20-gallon gives me this trouble and I now have a hard water crusty stain down the side.

Let me guess; it's a 20 high? I have that, too, with mine at home...I think that you might be okay.

Yeah, I think that must be it. What is up with that? Where do you guys usually keep your water levels at?

Some people may dissagree... but if you're really worried about it.. You can line the inner plastic lip with silicone from the hardware store. I used a caulking gun and Scotties-bought silicone to reseal my entire 55g. As long as you get 100% pure silicone (it will say "food surface safe") you're safe to use it IMO. It only costs 2-3 dollars for the giant tube compaired to the 5 dollars for the 2oz tube from the LFS.
