I just got 5 (all they had) pygmy cories. They are sooo cute. Does anyone else have them?
I have 8 or 9 (hard to count). I'm trying to get my little school up to 12. They are adorable and seem to be pretty hardy for the most part. Mine are in a planted tank and seem to be doing well.
Best of luck!

My LFS man said he has a school of about 20 in with his Discus. I only hope that I don't suck mine up while cleaning.
Unfortunately mine aren't schooling yet, they are in a planted tank. One of them thinks he is a green aenus cory. Keeps trying to keep up.

Well, my Angel ate a pygmy. Now the Angel is dead too.

Kind of a side question... are pygmies pretty reliable breeders? Frequent and easy to stimulate? It seems that I have read that in a few places. I'm thinking about working with them for my master's thesis.

I don't have the book with me, since I'm down on campus, but Corydoras, by somebody German (can't remember for the life of me) is a really good book. Talks about every cory that has been described up to the publishing date, and it's fairly new. I'd look into it. Otherwise I'll post late tonight with what I find.
