What exactly is my pleco supposed to eat? He very rarely eats on any algae. I just put a Tetra Tank Nibbler on the side of the glass and he latched right on to it! He eats more reg. fish food than my fishies! Any suggestions would be much appreciated!

Try algae wafers, or sink a piece of zuchini

They need a regular diet of fresh veggetables, like zucchini and spinach.(spinach is better to feed then lettuce because it has many more vitamins)

Some plecos are primarily meat eaters and others are basically vegetarian. Since you did not mention the kind of pleco you have it is hard to suggest the appropriate diet.

Sometimes I just throw in some lettuce or cucumber and let it float on the surface - it's fun to watch, 'cause he latches onto it and eats it upside down. :)
